Reasons for manual/curved edging

As a rule, manual edging is carried out without jointing.

Cutting is carried out with a scoring and main saw, they rarely match in size, so a step appears. Jointing is needed in order to remove the step defect after the saw center. Jointing - removal on an edge banding machine from 0.6 mm to 1 mm of material before edging.

Reasons for manual edging:

- the milling cut goes along the side of the part, removing the step and making the contour of the part impossible to process with a straight edge bander
- the part is small in size, perpendicular to the machine. As a rule, the minimum width of the part is 60mm.
- the part in size parallel to the machine is not enough to be held by the machine. Typically at least 55 mm

If you do not correctly specify the type of edging and jointing, the size of the part will differ from the desired one and you will not be able to assemble the furniture.
